Who we are

Engage and Change is a registered Canadian charity (charitable registration #80541 8647 RR0001) based at 890 Caledonia Road, Toronto, ON M6B 3Y1. This policy explains what information we collect through engageandchange.org and how we use it. Questions any time: [email protected].

What we collect

Information you send us. When you use our contact, volunteer interest, or agency application forms, we receive what you type: your name, email, phone number, organization, and your message. Form submissions are relayed to our email inbox by FormSubmit, a form delivery service, and are not stored in a database on this website.

Donations. Donations are processed entirely by CanadaHelps on their secure platform. We never see or store your card details. Tax receipts are issued through CanadaHelps via the Unity Values Foundation. CanadaHelps has its own privacy policy.

Analytics. Like most websites, we use Google Tag Manager and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used: pages visited, device type, and general location. This data is aggregated and does not identify you personally. You can block cookies in your browser settings and the site will keep working.

How we use it

We use the information you send us to respond to your questions, coordinate volunteering and kit-packing events, process agency kit requests, and thank our donors and partners. That is the whole list. We never sell, rent, or trade personal information.

Event photos

Our events are photographed, and photos may appear in our gallery, on our social channels, and in materials that support our mission. If a photo includes you and you would like it removed, email [email protected] and we will take it down.

Third-party links

This site links to other organizations, including CanadaHelps, The Bargains Group, KITS FOR A CAUSE, and news outlets that have covered our work. Their sites have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

Your choices

You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email [email protected] and we will respond as quickly as we can. We keep correspondence only as long as we need it to do the work described above.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
